Though this is undoubtedly true, one cannot ignore the sheer beauty of a human being sliding down a wooded slope and crashing into some immovable force. So the reality is that Tree Sledding, similar to martial arts, is more of an art than a mere sport.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The origin of Tree Sledding traces back to somewhere between 2002 and 2003. The exact time and date is uncertain but the party involved has been recorded. In fact, it was not one man who invented this sport but four: Will Davis, Elliott Dyson, Tyler Martin, and Tyler Smith. The first archived footage of Tree Sledding was created in 2003 and can be found on YouTube.
